However, he sat frozen on the couch, his gaze fixed solely on Sierra, utterly ignoring her presence.
Realizing she was on her own, Sophie forced a smile and took a step forward. "Good evening, Mr. Gray Senior. I'm Sophie Scott... Benson's girlfriend." Averting his gaze, Edward nodded curtly, his face betraying no emotion.
Just as he was about to speak, Benson suddenly snapped. "She is not my girlfriend! I ended things with her a long tago!" Janet's eyes flashed with contempt as she shot Sophie a glare.
For a brief moment, Sophie's composed mask cracked, a flicker of anger flashing across her face. But in the next instant, she quickly replaced it with a look of devastation, placing a hand over her stomach.
"Benson, please... don't abandonand our baby," she pleaded.
All eyes followed Sophie's hand as it rested on her stomach, each person reacting differently.
