I yanked Yura out of the way, while the bodyguards lent their strength to assist the team.
"Hurry, please, hurry!" Yura's voice shook with panic. Her grip on reality was slipping, and every second felt like a lifetime.
The sky darkened. Night was almost here.
"Yu, we're doing everything we can. We'll find him," Ryan, who had been quietly supporting Yura, finally spoke, his voice steady.
Shovels and machinery worked together, clearing away debris from the collapsed building.
Then, a small patch of black, short hair appeared from beneath the rubble.
It was a man.
"Timothy! It's Timothy!" Yura's heart raced. She fixated on the debris, a mixture of hope and desperation threatening to tear her apart. She screamed his name.
"We've found him! Keep going!" one of the rescue team members shouted, urgency in his voice.

The world spun. I pulled Yura to me, struggling to stay upright.
The tremor hit so hard and fast that several team members lost their footing, their shovels clattering to the ground.
Then cthe deafening crash of stone and brick.
The remaining half of the wall from the building collapsed again, burying the man under the rubble once more.
The aftershock lasted only a minute, but it was enough. The building had crumbled entirely. The new fallen debris piled thick on top of everything.
"Timothy!" Yura's voice cracked, full of anguish.
Tears poured down her face as she lunged toward the debris.
I held her back, my grip firm.
"Pick up the pace! We're saving lives here!" the leader bellowed, and his teammates went to work as swiftly as they could.
"Hold on, Yura. He's going to be fine," I whispered, trying to calm her.
"Jacks! Hurry!" The rescue leader barked. Several werewolf team members scrambled to lift the fallen wall with jacks.
I covered Yura's eyes with my hands, not wanting her to witness more. Then, the leader's voice rang out, 1/3 Chapter 411 Dangerous +8 Pearls A group of people scrambled to lift the man who had been buried beneath the rubble for what felt like ages.
Yura couldn't contain herself any longer. She shoved past me, her gaze fixed on the man being pulled from the wreckage.
Her body trembled as her eyes landed on Timothy. I let out a breath of relief.
We had found him. Timothy was alive.
But he didn't look like the man she had once known. His clothes were torn and ruined, dust coating his face and arms. His skin was pale, lips cracked, and his right leg... it was a nightmare. The pant leg had been torn apart, and deep, bloody wounds scarred his flesh. The jagged gash was stuck to the fabric, like it had becpart of him.
Timothy's eyes were shut tight. He was unconscious, limp on the stretcher.
Yura froze, unable to speak. Tears poured down her face, but no words cout.
The rescue team's doctor hurried over with a stretcher, and together, they carefully transferred Timothy onto it, lifting him into the waiting ambulance.
Yura stayed by his side, clutching his hand. Tears dripped steadily onto his skin as she whispered, "Timothy, you'll be fine... you can't be hurt ... please.” Her voice cracked.
I bit my lip, watching the doctor examine Timothy's injuries. I couldn't keep quiet anymore. "Doctor, how is he?" I asked, my voice tight with concern.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmFrom the looks of it, Timothy's injuries were serious-his leg in particular.
The werewolf doctor shook his head, his expression grave. "His condition is critical. He's been trapped for too long. After the building collapsed, a large stone pinned his leg, and the aftershocks made things worse. It's a miracle he's still alive." He exhaled sharply. "As for his leg ... the wound is deep. The stone crushed his muscles and nerves. After being trapped this long, the only option is amputation. If we don't, he's at risk of infection ... and worse." My stomach dropped.
Amputation? Was it really that bad? Yura's eyes widened, tears streaking down her face.
She clenched Timothy's hand even tighter, her desperate gaze fixed on him.
"Rosaline, you have to do something! We can't let them amputate his leg," Yura begged, her voice barely above En a whisper, trembling with fear. I placed a hand gently on her shoulder, sighing deeply.
Finding Timothy alive was a blessing. The Moon Goddess had shown mercy.
Ryan stepped closer to Yura, gently taking her hand. His voice was soft, trying to calm her. “Yu, "Yu he's strong. He's always pulled through. He'll make it. Once we get him to the hospital, they'll perform surgery, and everything will be fine. Just stay calm." Yura shook her head violently, sobbing. "No... no, he can't lose his leg." 2/3 09:05 Th 27 Mar Chapter 411 Dangerous I stared at Timothy's mangled leg, my mind racing with options.
His injuries were grave, but if Hughie were here, he could save his leg.

There was only one choice for now. I had to use the witch's stone to treat the wound and slow the damage. Then, I'd get Timothy to safety and call Hughie for help. 1.7K 3 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofifl0&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
