"Uh-huh," Colin responded, still adjusting to playing the part of Damien but staying focused on his objective. "lI need to speak with

you. Are you free now?"

Before Lennon had a chance to respond, Violet nodded and enthusiastically exclaimed, "Sure, absolutely! | have the time!" She

promptly let go of Lennon's hand and went to Colin, asking, "Damien, where should we talk?"

gaze. "We can chat over drinks," he added cautiously.

"Great!" Violet beamed, her smile radiant. "Let's go, Damien!" She then glanced at Lennon, saying, "Lennon, I'm going to have a

chat with Damien. You go ahead and meet her alone. Just don't linger too long; make sure toe back early!"

A flicker of indifference passed over Lennon's face, but he quickly smiled and responded, "Sure." Casting a brief glance at Colin, he

added, "Please look after my fiancée, Damien."

Colin, feeling uneasy under Lennon's gaze, coughed softly. "I will."

"Damien, let's go!" Violet led the way with a smile. "l actually don't like cafés. | prefer bars. Only boring people will meet in cafés..."
