Chapter 1153 Mistaken Identity
One reason behind this was to test Lennon's allegiance to her. If he hid it from her or refused to let here along, it would
suggest that Lennon had been feigning devotion and still harbored feelings for Lucy. The other reason was to see how Lucy wanted
to salvage the relationship. However, these considerations were overshadowed by Damien's proactive invitation. Violet didn't
believe that a mere invitation from Damien meant she had already triumphed over Cherise.
Nheless, it is said that men are never satisfied.
Cherise, with her petite frand modest curves, ultimately might not satisfy a spry man like Damien. In contrast, Violet
possessed curves that exuded just the right amount of allure across her entire body.

She had every reason to suspect that Damien's intentional invitation to the bar was a deliberate setup for something resembling a
drunken mishap. As she followed "Damien" out, she couldn't help but imagine future scenarios: being affectionate with Lennon at
hwhile secretly rendezvousing with Damien elsewhere. The mere thought of it sent a thrill through her veins.
Observing Colin, disguised as Damien, leave with Violet, Lennon let out a sigh of relief before finally ascending the stairs to the top
floor.
Through the glass window, Cherise observed Colin guiding Violet into the bar across the street. A wave of relief washed over her.
Her decision to have Colin intercept Violet wasn't driven by concern that Violet would stir up trouble but rather by a fear of
upsetting Lucy.
After everything Violet had done to Lucy in the past... Now, Violet was Lennon's fiancée, and he would defend her. If any conflict
arose, Lucy would feel upset facing the two of them alone, even if she didn't bear the brunt of it.
However, Cherise hadn't anticipated Colin being so adept. Does Violet genuinely believe she was so alluring that Damien would
succumb to her charms? Haha, how naive! With that thought in mind, Cherise lowered her head to focus on her si and sip her
tea.
After finishing her third cup of tea, a man dressed in black sat down across from her. "Back already?" Cherise glanced up briefly
before returning her attention to the si, asking casually, "Where's Violet?"
Damien paused for a moment, recognizing Cherise's misconception, before responding, "She left."
"She left?" Cherise raised an eyebrow, her attention still fixed on the si. "She let you go just like that?"
"What did you expect?"

"I thought she'd be pestering you to drink and sleep with her. | mean, it's Violet we're talking about." She pursed her lips
thoughtfully. "Back then, she had her eye on my husband for a long time. If it weren't for my natural charm keeping my husband in
line, she would've had her way with him ages ago!"
Damien was dumbstruck. He couldn't bear to reveal the truth as he watched Cherise's enthusiastic display. Damien could only play
along. He deliberately mimicked Colin's tone and demeanor. "Really? Damien isn't really that weak-willed, is he?"
Cherise scoffed, rolling her eyes as she sipped her tea. She continued to blabber, "Of course he is! Seriously, you're a guy too. How
dense can you be? You were just out with Violet. Didn't you notice how..." She paused, choosing her words carefully. "...Alluring she
is? How many men can resist that kind of temptation by such a beguiling woman? Just look at Lennon. He just broke up with Lucy,
and suddenly he's with Violet, all because of her incredible figure."
Damien couldn't help but chuckle at Cherise's ticmentary.
