Chapter 1172 Embarrassing Situation

"We may have been little more than strangers, but fate brought us together tonight! Let's do this!"

Colin was rendered speechless.

He finally understood why Mandy's assistant was worried.

It was ten o'clock at night.

Damien had Cherise pinned beneath him, ready to punish her for throwing his phone into the bath the day before when suddenly,

her phone on the coffee table rang loudly.

She immediately grabbed the phone like a lifeline and hit the speaker button.

"Is this Ms. Cherise?"

"Your friends Mandy and Colin caused a drunken brawl at a bar. They're now at the Yatesville police station. Can youe over?"

Cherise answered, "Sure, I'll be there soon!"

She hung up and frowned at the visibly irritated man. "Your brother... and Mandy... were drinking together?"

Damien didn't care what was happening between Mandy and Colin.

Since arriving in Yatesville, he had beamped, working late every night. By the the got home, Cherise was already asleep.

Although he longed to be intimate with her, he couldn't bear to wake her. But Lucy would inevitably interrupt whenever he tried to

be close to Cherise in the morning.

Finally, he had a free night and privacy with his wife. Yet, Mandy and Colin chose this tto cause trouble.

All he wanted was to try for a third child. Was it too much to ask?

"Darling, let's go to the police station."

Unaware of Damien's internal turmoil, Cherise hurried out of bed to get dressed. "Mandy's new to Yatesville. I'm afraid she'll clash

with the police."

Damien sighed and got out of bed, mentally noting his grudge.

Cherise and Damien rushed to the police station.

"Ms. Shaw, Mr. Lenoir."

An officer diligently recounted the entire incident involving Colin and Mandy.

Cherise felt a pang of regret upon listening to the officer. She felt embarrassed and realized she shouldn't have gone to the police

station.

Mandy got drunk and was convinced that she was a man. She flirted with a busty girl at the bar and then picked a fight with a bald,

tattooed guy, challenging him to see who was better endowed. Then, they started brawling.

To make things worse, the sweet, innocent Colin not only failed to stop Mandy but joined in the chaos.

"Is the other party okay?" Damien asked, frowning deeply.

"They're fine," the officer said with a cough. "but Mr. Gray got injured."

"As for Ms. Wool... well, she scratched up the guy's face pretty badly and only got a few scrapes herself."

Cherise was astounded. Colin's fighting skills were worse than a drunk Mandy's?

But then, it wasn't that surprising. Colin was a good kid, whereas Mandy had always had a fiery temperament.

Cherise and Damien negotiated with the police. Meanwhile, a now-sober Mandy buried her face in Colin's jacket. "This is so

embarrassing..."

Though she and Cherise and Damien had been close friends for years, they had mostly kept in touch over the phone after parting

ways five years ago. They recently met again after so long, only for Cherise and Damien to witness Mandy's most embarrassing

moment the next day.

With her face pressed into the jacket, she grumbled, "Colin, this is all your fault!"

Colin shot her a look. "My fault? | didn't tell you to hit on someone else's girlfriend, nor did | suggest you challenge that bald guy to

a size contest."
