Chapter 152
"l agree," one of the ladies said.
"We'll do this... and then..."
As the ladies discussed how to teach Yolanda a lesson, Gavin saw Bryce coming up the stairs, looking for Yolanda
as well. He instinctively stopped and watched Bryce's ascent.
Gavin had heard the rumors about Bryce's interest in Yolanda, but he was confident in Yolanda's affection for him
and their relationship.
He wouldn't be like those narrow-minded men who tried to control their partners and restrict their freedom.

Of course, not limiting Yolanda didn't mean he'd be indifferent to anyone who had improper intentions toward
her.
Perhaps sensing Gavin's cold, oppressive gaze, Bryce looked up and slowed his steps.
"Looking for Yolanda?" Gavin asked.
The classrooms on the second floor were for lower-year students. As a senior, Bryce's only reason for being there
would be to find someone.
"It's none of your business." The voice of the usually gentle Bryce grew cold as he sensed Gavin's hostility.
He had also heard the rumors but believed Gavin was unworthy of Yolanda. A man who had a fiancée but still
seduced Yolanda and caused her to be scorned didn't deserve to be with her at all.
Bryce had resigned himself to quietly protecting Yolanda if she didn't accept him. But Gavin was certainly not the
man who should be with her. He couldn't let Yolanda be deceived by someone as selfish and overbearing as
Gavin.
Today, Bryce was here to warn Yolanda to stay away from Gavin. It was rare for him to show such a stern side.
Gavin's keen insight wasn't likely to miss Bryce's hostility. Yet, he remained calm in the face of the provocation.
His eyes were cold as he spoke with an authoritative tone. "Yolanda is my fiancée. If you're only looking to be
friends, | won't interfere. But if you have other intentions, don't expectto be polite."
"Fiancée? Isn't Yvonne your fiancée?" Bryce sneered. "If you truly care for Yolanda, you shouldn't be entangled
with Yvonne."
Gavin stopped and turned to face Bryce. At that moment, Bryce saw a depth of coldness in Gavin's eyes that
unnerved him.

He couldn't understand why Gavin had changed so tically in temperament and demeanor in just half a
month. How could someone so meek suddenly becso assertive?
Bryce clearly sensed that something was wrong with Gavin. He beceven more uneasy about letting Yolanda
be around someone like him.
"Answer me! You already have a fiancée. Why are you letting Yolanda suffer from a bad reputation? She's just
started school. How is she supposed to make friends? Yolanda was already bullied in middle school. | won't allow
that to happen again!"
Gavin's eyes grew colder at Bryce's words. "Our affairs are none of your concern." Besides, Yolanda would never
face bullying. It was more likely that those who provoked her should be worried about their own fates.
"You're too full of yourself, Gavin!" Bryce's face turned pale with anger. He realized he couldn't reason with Gavin
using normal communication methods.
Noticing Bryce's agitation, Gavin lost interest in continuing the conversation. Without another word, he turned
and disappeared from Bryce's view.
