Summoning the last of her strength, Lena lunged forward, aiming to smash the elevator buttons. But with a loud thud, Allison kicked her hard, sending her sprawling into the corner.
"Only freedom is eternal. Both you and this laboratory will vanish into darkness," Allison said, her voice icy and dripping with menace.
