Chapter 0309
| was so busy getting dressed earlier that | hadn't stopped to think, maybe | shouldnt care what | wear because
I'm going to be taking it off anyway. With a smirk, | started to strip myself out of my clothes. | unhooked my bra,
letting it fall to the ground, and | stepped out of my panties kicking them to the side.
| was completely naked as | slipped under his blankets on his bed and got myself comfortable and ready for him.
I waited... and waited.
Tseemed to be taking forever to pass. With each moment passing, | grew more nervous. | kept asking myself
if this was a good Idea; maybe | shouldn't have let myself into his room. Maybe | should have assumed he meant
tonight as in late tonight.
| felt stupid... but | remained.
| waited so long... | completely fell asleep, only to wake at the sound of the door opening and Gavin was
speaking to someone as he backed into the room. Panic struckwhen | heard the other voice and felt his

Judy wasn’t at the dinner as | expected she would be. | glanced at the clock with a frown; it was after 7. The
dinner began half an hour ago. She should have been here. | didn’t see Nan around here either and | wondered if
they were together.
I glanced at my clock once more and sighed; | wasn’t hungry. | only chere because | wanted to see her, but
secing she wasn't here, it was pointless forto remain. quietly slipped out of the room without anyone
noticing. Or so | thought nobody noticed. That is until | reached the elevators to the rooms, and | felt a firm hand
on my shoulder.
| turned to see Mica stepping onto the elevator with me.
“Leaving so soon?” He asked, “You haven't eaten yet.”
“Not hungry,” | replied, my face remaining expressionless as | pressed my floor number.
“You left quickly after the competition earlier. What did you think about the opponents? | think a few of them are
going to go a long way. It’s going to be hard cutting a few of them.”
I nodded, not entirely sure why he was talking toor following me.
“Not all of them will survive next week,” 1 murmured. “Stick to the ones who will.”
“After Group B’s turn tomorrow, | think we should sit down with the others and the judges and discuss it
together,” Mica suggested.
The elevator doors opened, and | stepped out, Mica followingas | walked down the hallway and toward my
room. | could smell Judy's scent nearby and | knew she was here recently. | grabbed my room key out of my
pocket. Mica leaned against the wall, studying me,
You've been off lately. Is it because of Levi? Is he causing ou problems again?” Mica asked.
| didn’t trust any of the other Lycan chairmen with my business; Mica and | had been friends of a sort for a while,
and he knew better than anyone my ongoing feud with Lev But that didn’t mean | truly trusted Mica with any
type of Information.
“I'm just keeping my distance from him,” | murmured as | pushed the door open. | turned my back and faced
Mica. He looked like he wanted to walk into my room with me, but that was the last thing | wanted. “Was there
anything else you needed, Mica? If you don’t mind I-

Her scent hitlike a freight train, and I heard her inhaling a gasp from my bed. Judy was in my room. | was
frozen at the doorway as Mica frowned at me; he tried to glance into my room, probably hearing something as
well, but I blocked his view.
“You should get back to the dinner before they wonder where you are,” | told him, my eyes narrowing in his
direction.
He studiedfor a long while before trying to glance in my room again.
“Is everything okay?” He asked, his brows furrowed.
“Nice talking to you,” | muttered as | back into my room.
He looked as if he were about to say something else, but | didn’t give him that chance. | slammed the door in his
face and quickly locked it before he could even think to open it.
I let out a breath as | waited for him to leave. After a minute, | heard him retreating from the door. | turned
around to find that my bed was empty, but it was a bit disheveled. Someone was clearly in it.
As | walked around the bed, her scent grew even stronger until | was practically feral with need. | bent down
slightly and when | saw her closed eyes and her naked body hiding under my bed, | grinned.
