Chapter 95 Make A Fuss
Upon hearing that, Elliot turned and left without a moment's hesitation.
Before Owen could even react, Elliot was already out the door.
Owen sprang to his feet and roared, “Stop!”
Elliot didn’t pause.
Owen's voice thundered again, “I said stop! Stop right there!”
Elliot paused and turned around. “Didn't you just tellto leave?”
Owen felt a sharp pain in his chest with each breath he took, as if his heart was being crushed.
“When did I tell you to leave?” he demanded, glaring at Elliot.
Elliot responded coolly, “Since you clearly don’t welcme, there's no reason forto stay.”
Before Owen could respond, Elliot added, “But out of respect for your sincere invitation, I'll do you the favor of

Owen's blood pressure surged again as he watched Elliot return.
He felt dizzy.
As Elliot walked into the living room, he noticed two coffee cups on the table and casually took Owen's usual
seat.
Owen hesitated, unsure whether to sit or stand. Elliot had deftly turned the tables in just a minute.
If Owen chose to sit opposite him, it would put him at a psychological disadvantage, an odd position for a
father.
Standing felt even more demeaning.
After a brief pause, Owen decided to sit next to Elliot, attempting to regain scontrol over the situation. Elliot
shifted slightly, crossing his legs and resting them casually on the coffee table. He crossed his arms and faced
Owen with a composed expression.
“I chere to make it clear that the marriage arrangement between the Andrews and the Willis families must
be canceled. Your threats involving my mother’s belongings won’t change my decision,” he stated.
Owen retorted sharply, “You are causing trouble!”
Though father and son were seated close to each other, there was a vast distance between their hearts.
“I suggest you act wisely and return my mother’s belongings,” Elliot said, lowering his legs and beginning to
prepare coffee.

“What if | don’t?” Owen asked, his tone tense.
Elliot didn’t reply immediately, focusing instead on the brewing coffee. Once ready, he poured a cup and slid it
toward Owen.
Owen remained still.
“Aren’t you going to drink it?” Elliot asked with a slight smile. “Or are you worried | might have poisoned it?”
Owen sighed, his tone softening. “Amanda is a good girl. She’s an ideal match for you. Our families have been
allies for generations. There's no need to create such turmoil over Corynn.”

“Since you believe she’s such a good match, why don’t you marry her? That way, the engagement between our
families could still proceed.” Elliot gently poured the coffee into another cup as he spoke.
“Nonsense! I'm old enough to be her father. How can | marry her?” Owen snapped.
“Didn’t you say she was a good girl?” Elliot replied, his tone indifferent.
Owen countered, “Even if Amanda did something wrong, it was you who got involved with Corynn first. Besides,
fiancee!” it’s not a big deal. Amanda is your
Suddenly, Elliot burst into laughter, but the mirth didn’t reach his eyes. He toyed with the coffee pot and asked,
“Not a big deal?”
“Of course... Ah!” Owen screamed in pain.
Setting down the empty coffee pot, Elliot asked calmly, “Owen, does it hurt?”
“You scaldedwith boiling coffee!” Owen yelled, pointing at Elliot, shocked by the sudden attack.
“It’s just a burn. Why are you making such a fuss?” Elliot responded, looking at Owen with a calm demeanor.
Owen's face flushed with anger.
“You rascal! You scaldedwith boiling coffee, and you say I'm making a fuss?”
