Chapter 19 Leon Had a Child with Someone Else "Since Mr. Cooper's handling the issue, I don't need to stress. Got other stuff to do, so I'm out." Tiffany checked the time. She'd promised the kids she'd cook dinner and still needed to hit the supermarket, so she couldn't hang around. Leon stayed silent, but the manager got up to see her out.
As Tiffany reached the lobby, she realized she'd forgotten her keys at the security desk.
Upon heading out again with the keys in hand, she accidentally bumped into someone, nearly stumbling. Instead of hitting the floor, she ended up against someone's chest.
She turned and saw it was Leon. He was on his phone, talking to someone, and had caught her by the waist without even looking.
Tiffany quickly pulled away, feeling the awkwardness in the air.
"I see those eyes of yours are just for show. If you don't need them, maybe donate them," Leon said, his usual snarky tone in place. He couldn't resist taking a jab at Tiffany whenever he saw her.
"No need for your fake concern, Mr. Cooper. Even if I were blind, I wouldn't look at you," Tiffany snapped back. She'd meant to thank him, but his words ticked her off. She turned and walked away.
Just then, Sam's voice cthrough Leon's phone, "Daddy, was that Mommy's voice just now?" Sam's voice got quieter when he mentioned Tiffany, still a bit scared of Leon.

'Leon has a kid?' The thought made Tiffany inexplicably angry.
If Leon had a kid with another woman, why was he still interested in her son? What a jerk, treating relationships and kids like this! Tiffany's face burned with anger and shame. She couldn't stand to hear more and sped up her pace.
Leon, snapping out of it, watched her leave, feeling a bit off. Was it just him, or did Tiffany seem mad at him? "Daddy, are you listening?" Sam asked again on the phone.
"It wasn't her. I'll be back soon and we'll go out for dinner later." Leon lied and hung up.
Sam stared at the phone, confused. But he was sure that voice was Mommy's.
Tiffany had just reached the first floor of the hotel, her mind a mess, when a familiar figure appeared. She ran over and hugged her tightly. Seeing it was a friend, Tiffany's previous thoughts vanished, and she smiled. "Sophia, when did you get back? Weren't you on a national tour? Did it end already?" Tiffany linked arms with Sophia Brown and asked.
"It ended a while ago. I was gonna visit you abroad, but then I saw your photo in the news at the opening ceremony. Once I knew you were back, I wrapped things up at work and hurried over to see you." Sophia took off her mask and walked into the elevator with Tiffany, chatting and laughing.
"Lots of people know you here. Aren't you worried your fans will follow you?" Tiffany teased with a grin.
"Ha, I'm smart. I dressed like a regular person, and who'd think a big star would take the bus? That's how I managed to see you. Flora and Sam are here too, right? I miss them so much. Can't wait to kiss their little faces!" Sophia's eyes lit up at the mention of the kids, her excitement clear.
Sophia and Tiffany had met five years ago abroad. Back then, Tiffany had just moved overseas and found out she was pregnant. She ended up in the hospital with severe morning sickness and met Sophia, who was there for gastroenteritis. They shared a room and quickly becfriends in that foreign land.
Sophia was just starting out in the entertainment industry and wasn't famous yet. Later, she wore an outfit designed by Tiffany on a talent show stage and shot to fame, which also put Tiffany on the map as a designer. With her newfound popularity, Sophia landed numerous endorsements and scripts.

As Tiffany spoke, they reached the room. She swiped the card to open the door and saw "Sam" standing in the corner, staring blankly at her.
"Sam, Flora! Chere and see who this is!" Flora heard Tiffany's voice and ran over. Seeing it was Sophia, she immediately jumped into her arms, saying sweetly, "Godmother! I missed you." "Flora is getting cuter." Sophia pinched her cheek and kissed her.
Then, she saw "Sam" standing still, who used to be the most enthusiastic when she visited Tiffany.
"Sam, are you feeling unwell?" Sophia put Flora down and squatted in front of "Sam," reaching out to touch his head. He quickly hid behind Tiffany, hugging her leg tightly, as if afraid of strangers.
"Has he becintroverted? Why is he shy with me?" Sophia looked at Tiffany, puzzled.

Tiffany patted "Sam's" head, bringing him to Sophia, and patiently said, "Sam, don't you recognize your godmother? You used to love sticking to her and often defended her on social media."
Hearing Tiffany's words, Barry looked up at Sophia. He thought, this must be Mommy's best friend. He couldn't let Mommy suspect anything. "Godmother," he said timidly.
Fortunately, Sophia didn't suspect much, only feeling that "Sam" m seemed like a different person. But she didn't think too much about it, as kids often have unstable emotions.
"Godmother, have you eaten?" Flora asked sweetly, breaking the awkward atmosphere.
Tiffany then remembered she had forgotten to prepare the ingredients. It was all Leon's phone call that disrupted her thoughts.
"Since I'm here, I must take you out for a big meal. Tiffany, I just discovered this awesrestaurant. Let's check it out." "Are you sure it's okay?" Tiffany asked.
Given Sophia's status, being recognized by fans could cause a commotion.
"Don't worry, we'll book a private room. Let's go, I'm a bit hungry." "Okay." Soon, they left the room, with Sophia holding Flora's hand in front and Tiffany with Barry behind.
The four of them went to the underground garage and drove to the restaurant.
