Chapter 41 Intimate Contact Outside the study, there was a knock on the door. "Cin," Leon said.

Barry gently pushed the door open, his round head peeking in first. "Daddy," he called softly.

"What's up, Barry?" Leon asked, looking puzzled.

Barry walked over to Leon, holding a tablet. He unlocked it with his fingerprint and pointed at a photo on the screen.

"Daddy, this person is so beautiful. I like her, but a lot of people online are criticizing her. Why? Can we help her?" Barry asked, referring to Sophia.

Leon hadn't planned on getting involved, but seeing that Barry liked Sophia, he made up his mind.

Bronte's little tricks, using recordings to spread rumors, had already annoyed Leon. If she was unhappy, she could openly target them, but she shouldn't be doing things behind their backs.

Leon hated dealing with people who played dirty tricks in business. He couldn't even understand whether Bronte was trying to get back at Sophia or Tiffany.

Leon rubbed his temples, looking helpless. He pulled Barry close and then dialed Hugo's number.

While Leon was on the phone, Barry quietly sent a message to Sam: [Mission accomplished, Daddy is on board!] An hour later, the Cooper Group's clarification beca trending topic. Bronte, alone in her bedroom, becfurious when she saw it. She swept all the documents off her desk.

"Damn it! Why is Leon helping her? That bitch should be ruined and kicked out of the entertainment industry! Tiffany! Bitch! None of you will have a good end! You look down on me, but now that I'm involved with Leon, I won't let you have it easy!" Bronte cursed, her eyes filled with malice.

As long as she could destroy Tiffany and prevent her from ever telling Leon the truth, the position of Leon's wife would eventually be hers! Not long after, Tiffany saw the trending topic and wondered why Leon had changed his mind.

Sam quietly approached Tiffany, spreading his arms. "Mommy, I asked Barry for help. Sophia's issue should be resolved now, right?" he said, blinking and speaking in a cute, innocent voice like a curious baby.

Tiffany hugged Sam in surprise and kissed his little face. "Great job, you're truly Mommy's sweetest boy!" Tiffany didn't see Leon's help coming, and she certainly didn't expect that the Cooper Group's clarification would boost Sophia's popularity. But Bronte had finally found a chance to deal with them. Wasn't Leon afraid of making her angry by doing this? She restrained her smile, thinking for a while, but couldn't figure out Leon's intentions. Although it was for Barry, should she... thank Leon? The next day, Tiffany appeared around the Cooper Mansion early in the morning. Since her divorce from Leon, she hadn't cto this house voluntarily except to find Sam.

Just as Tiffany hesitated about whether to go in, Leon cout of the living room with his secretary. He immediately saw the petite figure outside the yard.

Tiffany? What was she doing here? Leon frowned, thinking, could Tiffany be here to steal their son? "Where's Barry?" Leon turned and asked Damon, who was about to enter the house. "Mr. Leon Cooper, Mr. Barry Cooper is still resting in his room." "Don't let Barry cout for now," Leon instructed, tossing the car keys to Hugo. He quickly walked up to Tiffany outside the yard.

She hadn't noticed him yet, so Leon directly grabbed her wrist. Tiffany was startled, but when she saw it was Leon, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Before she could speak, Leon questioned her with a stern face. "Tiffany, what are you doing here? What sneaky plan do you have this time?" Leon gritted his teeth, his eyes cold.

Tiffany winced as Leon's grip tightened on her wrist. She tried to pull away, but he yanked her closer, causing her to stumble and fall against his chest.

For a split second, Leon was transported back to that night five years ago. He quickly snapped out of it, looking down at Tiffany in his arms.

Before he could react, she pushed herself away and stood up, straightening her hair. "Leon, I chere to thank you for helping with Sophia's issue," Tiffany said, trying to compose herself.

"Barry likes her. I helped because it was convenient. Don't chere unless it's important," Leon replied coldly, his tone sharp.

Tiffany chuckled lightly. "Don't worry, Mr. Cooper, I won't bother you." She felt a pang of guilt. She knew that once she found a way to take Barry away, she wouldn't have to deal with Leon anymore.

Leon snorted. "It better be that way. Remember what you said." As he finished speaking, his car pulled up. Without another glance at Tiffany, he got in and drove off.

Tiffany let out a sigh of relief. Leon's protectiveness over Barry meant she had to be careful. She couldn't let him find out about Sam and Flora's true parentage, or he would take them away from her.

Afterward, Tiffany left the Cooper Mansion.

From the shadows, Bronte watched with dark eyes. She had followed Tiffany to the Cooper Mansion and witnessed the interaction between her and Leon. Jealousy burned within her.

Bronte glared at Tiffany's retreating figure. "Tiffany, let's see what with I happens next." That night, Tiffany's phone blew up with notifications. Later, Tess called, her voice frantic. "Tiffany, someone is accusing you of plagiarism online, and it's gaining traction." Tiffany frowned. Plagiarism? Her stuhad just opened, and they hadn't taken many orders, mostly from old friends. Except an anonymous user who dered a dress yesterday.

"Don't panic, I'll check it out," Tiffany said, hanging up and opening her studio's account. She found a negative review from the anonymous user, accusing her of copying someone else's style.

There were many replies, suggesting that someone had paid people to spread rumors. Tess sent Tiffany a e link to an article posted half an hour ago. It accused the designer of the dress Sophia wore when she debuted four years ago of plagiarism. Tiffany's grip on her phone tightened. She knew she hadn't plagiarized. She had returned to the country to find Barry. Now that she had found him, she wanted to establish her own brand and prove her design inspiration.

Economically independent women were believed to be more qualified to be single mothers. She had been recognized abroad and was determined to be recognized at htoo. She couldn't let these rumors bring down her studio. She had to find out who was behind them. Tiffany opened her computer, quickly traced the IP address, and found it led to Lakeside Haven.

"If I remember correctly, Bronte lives there," she muttered.
