Chapter 80 Completely Cutting Ties with Tiffany After leaving the hospital, Leon was fuming. He couldn't believe Tiffany had played him like that. The nerve of her! Five years ago, they hooked up, and she never said a word. Now she had the guts to show up and throw it in his face. She was clearly trying to humiliate him! Leon stormed back to his car, still seething. He whipped out his phone and shot a message to Hugo: [Forget about investigating Tiffany.] Hugo was baffled when he got the message. Why call off the investigation now? But orders were orders, so he called the investigator right away.
Leon had no idea this decision would keep him from uncovering the truth.
Back at the Cooper Mansion, Leon told Ronald the engagement party was set for next week. Ronald's face darkened, and he grabbed his cane, ready to whack Leon. But Leon stood his ground, not budging an inch.
In the end, Ronald couldn't do it. He just gripped his cane tightly and glared at Leon.
The three kids had just cdownstairs and overheard Leon. Panic flashed in their eyes. Everything seemed fine between Leon and Tiffany at the hospital. Why was Leon so mad now? And why was he still planning to get engaged to that awful woman? "Bronte's moving into the Cooper Mansion in a week," Leon announced, dropping a bombshell on the kids.

What about Mommy?" Mentioning Tiffany made Leon's face darken even more. His gaze at Flora lost its usual warmth. "From now on, no one mentions Tiffany! She's a manipulative woman! She doesn't deserve to be my wife or your mommy! You'll stay with the Cooper Family and cut all ties with her." "I don't want to!" Sam shouted, glaring at Leon, his little face red with anger. He couldn't understand what was wrong with Leon. Now he wanted them to cut ties with Tiffany? No way.
Flora stood by Sam, holding his hand tightly, making the sdecision.
"I don't want to either." Barry said quietly moving to stand with Sam. "Daddy. I don't want to cut ties with Mommy." The three kids stood united, ready to defy Leon.
Leon's face turned icy. To him, Tiffany was just using them to worm her way back into the Cooper Family. Leon would never let that happen! A woman like Tiffany didn't deserve to be a parent! "Sam, Barry, Flora, I'm asking you one last time. Do you want to cut ties with Tiffany or not?" Leon's voice was ice-cold, with a clear warning.
The kids stood their ground. Sam thought Leon was being totally unreasonable. He wanted to find Tiffany and get to the bottom of this.
With that thought, he grabbed Barry and Flora's hands and led them out.
"Barry, Flora, let's go find Mommy!" Sam stormed past Leon, with Barry and Flora right behind him. But Leon wasn't about to let them go. He quickly called the bodyguards outside the villa to block their way.
"From today until the engagement party, you're not leaving the villa! Stay put! Think carefully about what I said!" Leon's voice was commanding, brooking no opposition.
The kids' eyes filled with tears, staring at Leon in disbelief. Was this really the Leon they knew? Ronald was shocked too. Leon had never been this harsh with the kids. It was clear his behavior was scaring them.
"Leon, what are you doing? Sam, Barry, and Flora are your children. Are you going to imprison them? If you have any issues, talk it out. Don't take it out on them!" Ronald walked over to the kids, shielding them.
"And don't forget, Tiffany is still in the hospital! She ended up there saving you! Are you really going to bite the hand that feeds you? You promised Tiffany she could see the kids. Now you're going back on your word. Have you been bewitched by that woman Bronte?" Ronald's voice grew more agitated, and he started coughing, clearly angered by Leon. The kids looked at Ronald with concern, feeling even more resentful towards Leon.

"Grandpa, I won't force them to stay in the Cooper Mansion, but if they go out, Damon or the bodyguards must Ion m go with them. They can't meet Tiffany in private. Tiffany took a hit e for me, and I got her out of Damian's hands. We're even. Besides, she's not going to die, so you don't need to worry about her." With that, Leon turned and left the living room, heading to the company. The kids and Ronald were left feeling despondent. They couldn't understand why Leon's attitude had changed so quickly. What had happened between Tiffany and him? With the engagement party date set, swere happy, and swere sad. The happy one, of course, was Bronte.
Ever since Leon had started to distance himself, Bronte had been walking on eggshells, riddled with anxiety, especially in the aftermath of Tiffany's incident. She could feel Leon's growing suspicion about the truth five years ago.
At one point, she even considered coming clean, hoping for leniency. But before she could send her m confession, a message from Leon arrived, announcing the date of their engagement party and instructing her to prepare well. He assured her that he would take care of everything else. Bronte rubbed her eyes, thinking she had misread. It felt like a dream. Her emotions were like a roller coaster, thrilling and intense.
After getting the engagement party date, she immediately started showing off on News Feed posting a Wel screenshot of the message Leon had sent with the date. Bronte: [Dear friends, remember to cto the engagement party. See you all there.]
